Clear your calendar for next weekend because November 19th brings some great opportunities for nordic ski enthusiasts!

  1. Fahnestock Ski Swap:  If you are anywhere near Carmel, NY be sure to stop by the annual ski sale and consignment event. Do you have cross country ski gear or snowshoes that have not been used lately? Are you interested in upgrading equipment? You may purchase used or new XC skis, poles, boots, bindings or snowshoes for kids or adults from previous seasons at discounted prices!  Check out the details HERE
  2. The Adirondack Sports and Fitness Winter Expo: Saturday, November 19th and Sunday, November 20th will be the The 6th Annual Adirondack Sports Winter Expo.  It returns to the Saratoga Springs City Center with 100 exhibitors! Gear for sale (clothing, footwear & more), demos, door prizes, and family activities!  Several Nordic centers and NYSSRA Nordic Clubs will be represented at the Expo and it is a great chance to get gear, discounts and information.  More information can be found HERE

  4. The NYS Rollerski Championship: The Hudson United Racing Team is hosting a Rollerski Championship in Saratoga State Park on Saturday, November 19th.  It will feature a 5K classic and 10K freestyle race on closed park roads.  It is a great spectator course and a fun course ato race and ski.  We hope you can make it out to the event.  In the tradition of the Kingston Rollerski Race (which this is replacing) there will be a host of prizes and giveaways from sponsors like Polar, Rudy Project, Vermont Peanut Butter, Accelerade, Toko and V2 Rollerskis.  It will an event that you won’t want to miss!  Registration for the event can be found HERE and other upcoming events can be found HERE
