Lots of post high school, after college, and older adult Nordic ski racers started competing through NYSSRA Nordic organized events. Many of them learned to ski by climbing the BKYSL program ladder. It’s especially satisfying to receive expressions of thanks from these individuals and their families.
Some appreciative racers ask: What can I do to give something back to NYSSRA Nordic?
Answer: Consider volunteering for a range of helpful jobs that can make a difference to the ski racing community.
• A 2nd Vice president is needed for 2022-2024 (a two-year term).
• Volunteers are needed to make regular contributions to our Face Book page and website blog.
• Writers and photographers are needed for articles in NYSSRA Nordic’s Latest News for You e-newsletter.
