The NYSSRA points series managed to get in a spectacular weekend of racing before Mother Nature drenched the state with a January deluge.  NYSEF’s Harry Eldridge weekend featured well over 200 racers battling it out over two days. Team HURT remains the top NYSSRA Club, in command of the Points Series.  A real battle is brewing between NYSEF and Peru Nordic Masters for the second spot.  In the NYSSRA Series, Tim Hunek sits atop the Red Group, with Ann Jardin and Eric Seyse tied for second.  Many of NYSSRA’s master skiers will be heading to Craftsbury, VT this week for the AXCS Masters National Championships/Craftsbury Marathon.  However there are two races on the schedule this weekend, The Wolverine Classic and the Higley Hustle,  that will hopefully be on, even with the recent warm and wet weather.  Updates for these events will be found here on the NYSSRA Cross Country website.
