The crew at Gore Pulled off another JNQ this weekend in the middle of a Pandemic! (in other times this would be big news- but for the crew at gore it is just another weekend in January).
The times were super fast as expected. Big names who are always on the podium fought over their place the pecking order.
Bellizzi and Gengel took the top spots for Masters both days. In the Youth Races: Ledger took both days while Kelting and Mattern traded spots. Scanio and Anzello excelled in the U16 distances.
Results and points can be found on our site. The western and northern clubs made a big dent this week, it will be an interesting year for sure. Great Job to all competitors, and a big thank you to the organizers.
More racing on tap for the immediate future: Biathlon Sunday the 24th, Tourathon Try it on the 23rd, and the GHN-ADK Games + the Hurtathon to close out January. Sign up on skireg, spots are going fast.
-If you have noticed a drop off in Race content on this site, a few less sharp photos from Mr. Alberga’s camera, and a little less blogging- you can’t blame it all on the pandemic.
NYSSRA needs a 2nd Vice president – that position is blogger in chief, and it has become vacant. Other officers are chipping in as they can, but there are only so many hours in the day- and you can’t blame them for skiing when they could be typing. So if you want to improve the content- get in touch : Nyssranordic@gmail.com
