Pressed for time? Want to test your legs against your buddy? Looking to compete but maintaining social distance? Find your favorite spot to ski 1KM over any course- just start and finish at the same elevation- Submit your time for the socially distant relay:- Anytime before December 29th, anywhere, Ski 2 laps on a 1KM course, submit your laps along with a friend’s -fastest team wins toko hats.- NYSSRA points awarded to participants for individual season awards and teams.
Due to rain our in person race on the 27rh is off.
Next races will be at gore first weekend in January.
And and in person skate race in Glenville NY: The GHN-ADK 5K/10K Skate– December 27th (Sunday Morning. The start time will be adjusted earlier to accommodate as many racers as possible- but approximately 10AM. With 1 minute interval starts planned. Fastest skiers start first to minimize bunching and lapping. BKYSL interval start to follow. No day of registration.
If you are healthy and not under quarantine, consider venturing out to the ski trail as snow returns
