Recent snowfalls in parts of New York State have gotten Nordic racers on “rock skis” to begin training for early NYSSRA events. You’ll probably be able to use “good skis” on a mix of natural and machine-made snow at the following season opener events:
HURT Nordic Thanksgiving Junior Camp (Sat. Nov. 30 and Sun. Dec. 1)
North Creek Nordic Festival races (Sat. Dec. 7 – 10 K Classic and Sun. Dec. 8 Freestyle Sprints)
Don’t forget. The Membership Race is on until Dec. 1 for Scholastic and non Scholastic categories of drawings and prizes. See details in the Nov. 13 post.
