Special Reminder to Race Organizers – Insurance changes!*

Reminder to all clubs, the new NYSSRA insurance policy became effective on 7/1/16. If you have not renewed your sanctioned club status for the 2016-17 season, you do not have insurance!! Please get the paperwork in to Ed Luban ASAP.

Also, as reported at the Fall Meeting, NYSSRA-Nordic has changed insurance carriers and the new improved definition of the “Named Insured” now includes ALL sanctioned clubs, so your club does not need to request “additional insured” status! You can still request certificates of insurance for individual property owners if they want one, but it too is not necessary…their additional insured status would be automatically on the policy.
