The Queensbury Invitational scheduled for Saturday 1/16 has been moved to the North Creek Ski Bowl. This race is part of the Wilkinson Cup Race Series. In addition, the race has been made a JNQ/EHSC/U16 Qualifier to make up for the two previous JNQ races that have been cancelled. The freestyle Open/Masters race is scheduled for 9:00am and the JNQ Girls and JNQ Boys race will be scheduled for 10:15 and 11:15 respectively.
Full event details are available on the registration page. There will be NO day-of registration for JNQ skiers at this event. JUNIORS must pre-register on skireg, but you can select the “pay-on-site” option and pay your fee at bib pickup. Masters skiers do have a day-of option.
The Sports Page Ski and Patio shop is donating providing a pair of ski poles to the fastest junior boys time and fastest junior girls time.
Gore Mountain has been working all week with 5 snow guns to provide ample snow and competitive race course for all athletes. We hope to see you there.
In other news – a final call has yet to be made about the HURTathon ski race scheduled for Sunday 1/17.
