Finally some good news to report! Next weekend, points series racing will begin with the HURT Mega-Relay on January 9th. For those people who have been snow-starved and are yearning for K’s this is a great event to get some of the mileage back. Bring a relay team and ski the day in North Creek. The venue has changed to the Ski Bowl in North Creek because Gore Mtn. is supplying a healthy dose of blown snow to ensure great racing conditions on Saturday. HURT Nordic is bringing the race scene to GORE!
The points series will continue on Sunday, January 10th with a race in Old Forge. This race will be a FREESTYLE race (not a classic race as originally planned). This race is also a qualifying race for the JNQ/EHSC/U16 points list so junior skiers will want to attend this event.
