Registration for the 2014 Cross Country Skiing Events closes end of day Tuesday Feb 4. However, Empire State Winter Games normally leaves the registration page up past the deadline. So, If you miss the deadline, there is a good chance that you will be able to register on Wednesday as well. I wouldn’t wait to find out though.

New this year: Saturday night Sprint finals 5:30 pm at the Speed Oval in Lake Placid. To qualify for this event you will need to sign up at the Friday night prologue at Dewey Mt in Saranac Lake. From those that sign up, the top 8 men and top 8 women overall will be selected to compete at Saturday nights finals. There are no age classes – medals will be awarded.
