Visit NYSSRA Nordic and 100 other exhibits at the fourth annual Adirondack Sports & Fitness “Winter Sports & Healthy Living Expo” on Saturday, November 19 from 10am-6pm and Sunday, November 20 from 10am-4pm at the Saratoga Springs City Center, Saratoga Springs. The show is the region’s celebration of all winter sports, cross-training, healthy lifestyles and travel!
Highlights of the exhibits and interactive features include:
• Mega Spin Indoor Cycling coached by Kevin Crossman – registration required
• Laser biathlon target shooting
• Snowshoe running area
• Ski waxing clinic with David Paarlberg-Kvam
• Sales on gear and clothing
• Live birds of prey
• Seminars: backcountry skiing, family fun, diet, integrative medicine, celiac disease
• Complimentary massages by One Roof Saratoga
• Prizes and giveaways
The NYSSRA Nordic booth will offer World Cup videos, ski waxing demos, ski orienteering, Nordic racing equipment and opportunities to try laser biathlon shooting. Members from area NYSSRA Nordic sanctioned clubs will be available to discuss ski training, getting kids involved with Bill Koch Youth Ski League programs, how to select racing equipment, and the benefits of joining NYSSRA Nordic and an area club.
Admission: $5 for adults (18-under free). Partial ticket proceeds go to floydwarriors.com of Saratoga which helps newly diagnosed cancer patients with basic life necessities. The Expo Guide, exhibitor list and seminar schedule are posted on www.adksports.com.
Free public parking in downtown Saratoga Springs is available for attendees.
