Heavy rains and above freezing temperatures have plagued the LP region for the last 30 hours or so. There is plenty of snow but it is very soggy and there is some flooding on the biathlon side. This will most definitely force some course and format adjustments. We won’t know for sure where the courses will run until freezing temps return and the groomers can assess what they are able to work with.
Because of flooding on the Biathlon side, most likely, the Saturday races will be run out of the xc side.
Mother Nature has certainly made things interesting!
