Fitness Winter Expo<\/strong> in Saratoga Springs. \u00a0NYSSRA joined many different winter sports clubs and vendors at this event. \u00a0On hand were President, <strong>Jim Kobak<\/strong>, Vice-President <strong>David Kvam <\/strong>and Secretary, <strong>Eric Hamilton<\/strong>. \u00a0Highlights of the Expo included presentations by NYSSRA&#8217;s own <strong>Curt Schreine<\/strong>r, <strong>Deb Nordyke<\/strong> and <strong>Sean Halligan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_870\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-870\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-870\" title=\"Curt Schreiner\" src=\"http:\/\/nyssranordic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/skishow-012-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"Curt Schriener talks about his experiences at the Olympics\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-870\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Curt Schriener talks about his experiences at the Olympics<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Curt and Deb gave a presentation about their Olympic experiences. \u00a0Curt is a three-time Olympic biathlete, competing at the &#8217;88 Calgary, &#8217;92 Albertville and the &#8217;94 Lillehammer Games, and Deborah skied Biathlon at the 1998 Nagano Games.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_871\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-871\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-871\" title=\"wax clinic\" src=\"http:\/\/nyssranordic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/skishow-022-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Sean and Curt give a wax clinic\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-871\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Sean and Curt give a wax clinic<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Curt and Sean teamed up to give a cross-country ski waxing clinic sponsored by the <strong>Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks Nordic Team<\/strong> and the <strong>Saratoga Biathlon Club<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 210px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"roll\" src=\"http:\/\/www.torontonordic.org\/images\/rollerski1-200x235.jpg\" alt=\"NY Rollerski Championships coming to Saratoga in 2010\" width=\"200\" height=\"235\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">NY Rollerski Championships coming to Saratoga in 2010<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Perhaps the most exciting news from the expo was that NYSSRA Nordic and Adirondack Sports and Fitness will be co-sponsoring the <strong>New York State Rollerski Championship <\/strong>in Saratoga Springs next November. \u00a0This race will take place during next year&#8217;s Expo and will be part of the NYSSRA series. \u00a0 NYSSRA is excited to bring the excitement of Nordic racing to downtown Saratoga Springs. \u00a0Stay tuned to nyssranordic.com for details as this event evolves.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NYSSRA Nordic was represented at the annual Adirondack Sports &amp;
