{"id":500,"date":"2009-02-12T21:03:11","date_gmt":"2009-02-13T02:03:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nyssranordic.com\/word_press\/?p=500"},"modified":"2009-02-12T21:03:11","modified_gmt":"2009-02-13T02:03:11","slug":"eastern-high-school-championships-information","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nyssranordic.org\/?p=500","title":{"rendered":"Eastern High School Championships Information"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>2009 EHSC IN RANGELEY, MAINE MARCH 19-22<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>NEW YORK CAN ENTER A TEAM OF 24 BOYS AND 24 GIRLS (you must be in grades 9-12)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>ATHLETES LISTED IN BLUE ARE QUALIFIED, ATHLETES LISTED IN RED ARE ALTERNATES<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>BOYS LIST <a href=\"http:\/\/nyssranordic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/boys-ny-ehsc-ranking-list-2009.doc\">boys-ny-ehsc-ranking-list-2009<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>GIRLS LIST <a href=\"http:\/\/nyssranordic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/girls-ny-ehsc-ranking-list-2009.doc\">girls-ny-ehsc-ranking-list-2009<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>All athletes who have qualified OR named as an alternate for EHSC need to either ACCEPT OR DECLINE\u00a0their spot on the team by by\u00a0Sunday Feb 15 AT 6 PM. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>FOR THE ALTERNATES<\/strong><br \/>\nIf you are an alternate and accept a spot, this does not mean you will definately get to go. You will only get to go if a qualified athlete declines their spot.\u00a0We will work through the alternates listed\u00a0in order 1-10. We would like the alternates to let us know if you are interested by also filling out the form to make this process easier.<\/p>\n<p>Coaches attending: Margaret Maher (NYSEF) and Julie Hinsdill (Camden), other coaches TBA<\/p>\n<p>The EHSC trip\u00a0will take place in Rangeley, Maine from March 19-22. There are races on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The race details are at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nensa.net\/page.php?id=2491\">http:\/\/www.nensa.net\/page.php?id=2491<\/a>\u00a0All athletes must be NYSSRA members. We currently have lodging space for 28 at Niboban Camps in Rangeley, website <a href=\"http:\/\/www.niboban.com\/\">http:\/\/www.niboban.com\/<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0 We can add more space if\u00a0needed. Transportation may\u00a0or may not be available with the team depending on who signs up to go\/where\u00a0in the state athletes are\u00a0traveling from.\u00a0Additional coaching or parent help is needed to make this trip happen.<\/p>\n<p>Trip cost is approximately $350 and includes meals, team lodging, race registration and possible team transportation. 3-day race regsitration alone is $95.
