Tupper lake;s Lumberjack Scramble 10K<\/p>\n

TUPPER LAKE – On Feb. 28, an old favorite ski race will return to this community as skiers of all ages and abilities converge at the municipal cross-country ski trails to compete in the Lumberjack Scramble.<\/p>\n

\n

The event will take skiers through a course which includes views of Cranberry Pond and Big Tupper Ski Area. The trails are finely groomed by a dedicated volunteer staff and tracks will be set. This is a classic race only; skating is not allowed.<\/p>\n

Registration is $15 per participant and begins at 8:45 a.m. Checks should be made payable to the Town of Tupper Lake.<\/p>\n

There are four racing classes at the event: the Lollipop Loop is for skiers 7 and under and is free for participants, skiers age 7 to 12 will take to the golf course for a 3-kilometer race, and skiers age 13 and up will have the option of either skiing a 5-kilometer course or a 10-kilometer course.<\/p>\n

The race begins with a mass start at 10 a.m. An award ceremony will take place after the race inside the heated pro-shop. It will feature refreshments and door prizes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

2015 Winona Forest Tourathon

Yep …you missed it….online registration is closed ! \u00a0But you have a second chance to enter the 2015 Winona Forest Tourathon !!!! Just wake up real early, grab your skis and head to Winona Forest CCC Camp . Registration will be open 6:30 – 7:30 am. For more info and an entry form please email info@winonaforest.com<\/a><\/p>\n
