This time of year many racers notice their endurance increasing. Saturday’s ESWG race showed which racers had the slow twitch fibers to race 18KM.<\/p>\n

There are 4 Long races left on NYSSRA’s calendar, if you have not tried one before: sign up! It can be tons of fun. This Sunday Saratoga Biathlon will host their Mini marathon 30Km skate, and 15KM short race(register here).<\/p>\n

2 weeks away there is the Winona Forest\u00a0Tourathon: 12.5KM, 25KM, and 50Km classic races, favorable rates for scholastic racers and family discount. This is a\u00a0great way to get into distance racing.<\/p>\n
