After much deliberation and following the national weather forecasts for the area- the Technical Delegate, Race Officials and I decided to re-schedule the Try-It for February 5th.<\/p>\n
The latest forecast is calling for a -30 F wind chill Friday Night- accompanied by a potential 1-2 feet of snow. The actual low temperatures are forecasted to be between -8 and -15 through Sunday with 15-25 MPH wind gusts. I am confident in our safety precautions, but it’s just too much of a risk to the skiers and volunteers.<\/p>\n
I will be offering a refund to skiers who wish not to race on the 5th.<\/p>\n
