NYSSRA Nordic\u2019s Fall 2021<\/strong> meeting on Wednesday, September 22 at 7:00 pm<\/strong> will be a virtual meeting via Zoom. Members, representatives of NYSSRA Nordic sanctioned clubs, executive officers, and committee chairs are invited to participate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goal of this meeting is to continue planning all aspects of the 2021-22 race season<\/strong>. Committee chairs are asked to meet prior to the Fall meeting to prepare a draft 2020-21 race schedule to present.

Agenda for September 22<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Attendance and establishment of voting members
2. Approval of the minutes of the Spring 2021 meeting
3. Opening Remarks from the President
4. Treasurer\u2019s report
5. Committee reports: a. Biathlon b. Ski-Orienteering c. Cross Country d. Mid-Atlantic e. BKYSL f. Insurance
6. Executive Director\u2019s report \u2013 fundraising, e-newsletter, high school liaison, communication w\/ NENSA, current membership renewal numbers, etc.
7. Old business:
a. Officers \u2013 filling vacancy of 2nd Vice President
b. Planning for CY2 (COVID Year 2) precautions \u2013 reconvene committee for appropriate revisions to guidelines for conducting races. Include: putting the COVID waiver language consistently on all necessary forms.
c. Fluorocarbon wax policy \u2013 updates from national organizations
d. Publicity & Education \u2013 Task plan to update website content and consider options for more active management of website postings by content contributors. Include: Clarifying who will manage the FB page, NYSSRA Gmail inbox, funneling information to Bob Underwood for newsletter content.
8. New business:
a. Summary of Additional Insured & Background Check Policy for revised forms and posting
b. Junior Nationals \u2013 status, confirm dates and potential trip leaders
c. Race Schedule for 2021\/22 Season, work toward quicker calendaring of races and publicity for the season, consider rebuilding race series
