By now, everyone is painfully aware of the current fiscal crisis in New York State. \u00a0ORDA (Olympic Regional Development Authority) is potentially on the State budget chopping block. \u00a0NYSSRA Nordic, Inc. maintains that the ORDA Nordic Skiing and Biathlon Venue at Mount Van Hoevenberg, in Lake Placid, \u00a0is essential to the life of Nordic Ski Sports in our State. \u00a0 Mt. Van Hoevenberg hosts many of our events each year, including signature events like NYSEF’s Harry Eldridge Weekend, the Lake Placid Loppet and the Empire State Games. \u00a0Mount Van Hoevenberg is a world-class facility that we are fortunate enough to have in our home State.<\/p>\n
