Dear Members of NYSSRA Nordic,
You are invited to join officers and club representatives on Sunday, April 3 at the organization’s Spring Meeting in Utica. See agenda below. Committees (morning) and the association (afternoon) will focus on decisions affecting our participation in various approaches and dates the Lake Placid Local Organizing Group is proposing for the 2012 Empire State Winter Games, drafting of 2011-12 race schedules, review of the past race season and other matters.
The meeting’s earlier date avoids conflicts with spring vacations, Easter and early May. Your ideas and input on any NYSSRA Nordic issues and matters are important. If you are not able attend the meeting, your comments can be sent by: 1) email to your club representative (see club list), or 2) email to your sport committee chair or the NYSSRA president (roosmean@verizon.net), or 3) a posting on the NYSSRA Forum page, or 4) the “leave a comment” at the bottom of the posted agenda.

• consider developmental opportunities and changes that could be part of a new approach that the L. Placid Local Organizing Group envisions for the 2012 Winter ESGs

• draft a race schedule for next season to present at the general meeting in the afternoon
• review their 2010-11 season and name a 2011 NYSSRA Team for their sport
• prepare a brief report on the 2010-11 season and racer camps and National Governing Body activities that will affect next season
• conduct other business necessary to their sport
